We have known Brandon Watts for many years and he is among the best and most passionate coaches our son has ever had. His energy and competitive spirit are infectious. He not only has a love for whatever sport he is coaching, but has the ability to teach it at a high level. His knowledge, temperament and experience bring out the best in the kids with whom he works. Brandon takes the time to know each of his students uniquely and pushes them to be better in every way, both on and off the court/field. Brandon is an outstanding coach and great role model.
Brandon has been enthusiastically teaching my son football, basketball, and other sports for the past several years. Brandon has a unique way of combining his thorough understanding of sports with his intense passion for teaching young people the right way to play. He is able to teach the young, the old, the recreational, and the serious youth athlete in a way that makes them enjoy sports and want to come back again the next day, the next week, and the next year. Brandon teaches that the most important aspects of sports are having fun and doing what you are supposed to do, great life lessons!
Brandon has been a wonderful coach and leader for Xavier. Xavier was already athletic and ambitious when Brandon began working with him. Where I’ve seen plenty of coaches sit back and let talented kids play, Brandon took Xavier’s raw talent and put him in position, time and time again, to excel beyond his natural ability.
Brandon has been coaching my son in football and basketball for the past 3 years. I’ve seen positive changes in his confidence and self efficacy as well as a significant increase in his sportsmanship and willingness to assist others. Working with coach Brandon has truly resulted in positive changes for my son.
