Corella Productions is a female-owned, family-run organization providing high-quality after-school performing arts education throughout the Chicagoland area and Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Now celebrating 25 years of service, Corella Productions is proud to be the longest-running after-school theatre program within Chicago Public Schools. Recognized as one of the nation’s premier youth theatre programs, Corella Productions has transformed the lives of thousands of children through the performing arts.
This year-long performance program provides comprehensive training in acting, singing, and dance while preparing students for a fully staged musical theatre production. Students will rehearse weekly throughout the entire school year as they learn and develop all aspects of The Wizard of Oz.
The program concludes with performances of The Wizard of Oz at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts (1026 N. Dearborn Street, Chicago) on May 14-16, 2027. Tickets will need to be purchased for the production by parents. Tickets are $40.
Students receive more than 70 hours of in-school training, plus approximately 30 additional hours of rehearsals at Ruth Page during the week of the show.
At Corella Productions, we don’t just create performers—we help shape confident, compassionate, and resilient young people. Through theatre, students develop skills that will benefit them both on and off the stage for years to come.
